Lunch on the Farm is a pop up, fine dining restaurant that we open for celebrations of our free range produce. The menu for each lunch is designed to showcase a particular product from the farm and the lunch is named as an “Ode” to that particular product. In honour of each animal’s life, the lunch menu is designed to use as much of the animal as possible so as not to create unnecessary waste, but also to educate our guests about less well known, but equally delicious cuts of meat. (We do, however, cater for vegetarians!)
Lunch on the Farm is held in the age old tradition of communal, al fresco dining at long tables on the banks of the lake.
Drinks and canapés are served from 12h30, where after guests are welcomed to take their seat at the table where they will be delighted with a menu of 4 gourmet courses, created by top chef Simon Beggs in collaboration with the Free Range Food Co.
Whilst Lunch on the Farm is all about the coming together of friends, family and “new friends” in the traditional manner of sharing a meal together, the fine quality of the food and service will ensure that it is a most memorable and enjoyable experience.
